ATLANTA, GA – BYLD, a construction technology company headquartered in Denver, CO, proudly announces the launch of its second BYLDverse, a next-generation production facility located in Atlanta, Georgia. The company is beginning to scale its offering nationwide and the facility in Atlanta positions BYLD to meet growing demand across the Southeastern United States due to the technology’s ability to drive costs down with greater efficiency, speed, and precision.
The term BYLDverse refers to BYLD’s centralized production environments where the company processes optimized, off-the-shelf, non-proprietary cold formed steel framing components with the company’s proprietary software and hardware solutions that brings digitally designed structures to life utilizing their BYLD by NumbersTM assembly approach. The Atlanta facility expands BYLD’s manufacturing footprint and shortens the delivery cycle for key regional projects.
“With BYLDverse ATL, we’re positioned to serve the Southeast market with greater agility and operational efficiency.” BYLD’s CEO, Del de Windt said, “We have found that the Sunbelt, especially the hurricane zones that are struggling unanimously with runaway insurance costs, are benefiting greatly from BYLD’s non-combustible, cold formed steel approach. We’ve taken deals shelved with budget busts and resurrecting them because of the our overall savings we offer. That’s been really exciting and rewarding as we bring our technology to market.”
The Southeast expansion comes as BYLD breaks ground on two high-impact projects in Florida, including:
Florida Tech On-Campus Student Housing – Located adjacent to the Florida Institute of Technology campus, this project will house 500 students and is a prime example of how BYLD’s framing approach saves costs, accelerate delivery timelines, improves quality and sustainability.
Mariner Street Apartments – This 330,000 square foot Class A multifamily project in Tampa, FL highlights BYLD’s ability to deliver a high impact structural approach for large-scale urban developments. Mariner is being constructed using BYLD’s optimized framing bundles and essentially panelized with absolute precision onsite after being processed in ATL with minimal waste.
As the Southeast continues to grow, BYLD is scaling alongside it, with a commitment to innovation, speed, and structural excellence. Driving costs down for developers and general contractors and delivering much needed units to cities within 1,000 miles of BYLDverse ATL. Which will serve as a regional engine for growth and affordability, enabling the company to merge traditional methods with the advantages of future technological advancements of construction.
“We’re not trying to be the future of construction, we’re effective in the present, but we do want to help build the bridge to the future of construction,” concluded de Windt.
